Pray with us for the impact of The Hope Tent, and for the committees below. The committees, leaders, and members are the foundation for the unique outreach through Christian hospitality. Print PDF
We also ask for you to visit Otsiningo Park, walk the grounds and pray for the success and efficiency of The Hope Tent. This includes prayers throughout the year long planning stages before Spiedie Fest weekend, during the weekend, and after our event. Please pray that we reach the lost and show them the sincere love of Jesus Christ, in a welcoming and non-threatening atmosphere. We look forward to meeting new brothers and sisters in Christ.

Pray For: Wisdom and discernment, so that the mission and vision for this ministry effort will be articulated with great clarity and that those who will be receiving the message will have open hearts and minds to receive and act out on what God has called them to do in support of this community outreach. And that those non-believers receiving an invitation to the Hope Tent will have their hearts softened and their ears opened to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. And that it may be accomplished in the most excellent way of Jesus. Matthew 13:16-17"But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it."

John 13:13-15 "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you."

Pray For: Wisdom and discernment in selecting the most effective layout of our ministry location so that it may have the greatest exposure, visibility and impact for the people who will be attending this event. And that new revelations of logistic creativity may become manifest throughout this event that will provide greater insight in preparing for future events. Pray also that the business of this event will not inhibit people from seeking Jesus for patience, guidance and direction. Luke 10:38-41 "As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!" "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

Worship & Ministries Committee |
Pray For: The garment of praise to be worn at all times and that the heart of Jesus will become manifest through humility and unconditional love. Pray that we will always think of others more highly then we think of ourselves, and that they will witness first hand, the greatest of all, who has become manifest in us as the servant of all for his namesake and for his glory. 2 Corinthians 2:3-4 "You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God."

Intercessory Prayer Committee |
Pray For: Pray intercessors from all over this community to come into unity for the sake of reaching lost and dying souls within our community, and for God’s faith to arise within us so that we may know with confidence what his good, perfect and pleasing will is, and believe in our hearts with a faith that is pleasing to Him, that our prayers have indeed been answered in Jesus name. Isaiah 53:12 "Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." 1 Timothy 2:1"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone." Romans 8:26 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express."
